It is so easy to get started:
First....Sign Up for Swagbucks!  You will get 30 swagbucks just for signing up.
Next...you just search the web using the swagbucks search engine just like you would Google.  You can either use the swagbucks homepage or download the toolbar which makes earning even easier.

It is so easy you will be earning in not time.  When you earn enough swagbucks you can cash them in for gift cards and prizes.
(So far I have cashed in for $25 in Amazon Gift Cards and used them.)
Almost daily they put out swag codes that earn you swagbucks just for finding the code and submitting it. I check the SwagCodes site as often as possible to to get as many codes as I can.  It really helps to build them up fast.
Many people use their Swagbucks to buy Chirstmas or Birthday presents for people.  What a great way to save...by getting gifts for free.

Sleep...What is that?

You would think that I wasn't getting much sleep because of my 4 month old baby...but that is not the case.  My baby has been sleeping through the night since she was bout 6 weeks old (I know I am spoiled.)
My 2 1/2 year old on the other hand has decided that she doesn't want to stay in her bed throughout the night.  It started just after we came back from camping over Labor Day weekend.  She apparently has figured out that she can get out of her bed...out of her room...and into mommy and daddy's room.  She has been sleeping in her own bed for a long time now and for a couple of months she has been in her big girl bed.
I don't know what changed.  Maybe she is just getting smarter.  Maybe she doesn't want to be alone.  Maybe she is scared of something.  I haven't figured it out yet but it might even be that she needs to go potty.
I am not sure but this last night she came in and my hubby thinks that she might have been sleep walking because she didn't even seem awake and he took her back to her room and she never woke up.   Sometimes she comes in more than once in a night.
Has anyone had this problem?  Any advice to get her to stay in her bed?
I need sleep or I am a crabby mommy and nobody wants to be around me.  I have even been trying to catch up during the day by taking a nap but...it is a challenge to get both of the girls asleep at the same time.
What to do?  What to do to get some more sleep?

Tummy Time

I have been trying out different things to get in lots of tummy time with my baby.  There are  a lot of times that I put her on her tummy and she starts to cry right away.  It can be frustrating…I want my little one to get stronger and learn important skills but I don’t want her to cry especially during important tummy time efforts.   Giving her some different things to look at or do has been helping her to be more comfortable.
First some things that haven’t worked for us.  I have tried rolling up a towel and putting it under her but she just tries to crawl over it and she face plants into the floor. I have tried putting her on my belly or chest but that hasn’t worked for us because she cries every time I try.  We have also tried the Boppy pillow and it is too big and she tries to crawl over it then gets frustrated because she isn’t going anywhere.
Some things that have worked for us have been things like me getting on the floor with her, talking to her and encouraging her to roll over.  Zoie usually comes over and helps me too (she just loves her little sister.)  Sometimes I lay her over my leg so that I am right there with her and she has a bit of a boost to see better.   At a garage sale I bought a Boppy Tummy Time Mat and we both love it.  She will hold her head up for quite awhile when we use the Boppy Mat.  The small pillow that comes with the mat is just the right size.  It also doubles as a small Boppy pillow for Zoie to use when she feeds her baby dolls.

Does your baby struggle with tummy time?  What do you do to make tummy time more interesting or fun?
I would love to read your comments to get some great ideas to try.
